Answer:  

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15).

How can Christ Jesus save sinners?

“For our sake he [God] made him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:22).

Therefore:

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God” (John 3:18).
